This product is a triazole fungicide, for ergot sterol biosynthesis inhibitors, with the effect of prevention and treatment, with a strong absorption, high efficacy, longer lasting characteristics.
This product is mainly used to control wheat powdery mildew.
Biochemistry Inhibition of sterol demethylation. Uses Seed disinfectant against seed-borne diseases, and a preventive treatment against a number of foliar pathogens such as rusts, powdery mildew, leaf spot, eye spot, leaf and net blotch of cereals, and head smut of maize; applied as a seed treatment at 50 g/t for cereals and 200 g/t for maize. Formulation types FS.
1. myclobutanil is used to control Ascomycetes, Fungi Imperfecti,
and Basidiomycetes on a wide variety of crops.
2. The primary use is for powdery mildew (Uncinula necator) control in vines
and for combined leaf scab and powdery mildew control in apples.
Application rates typically 30-60 g/ha.
3. Also registered for control of Ascomycetes or Basidiomycetes diseases
on a broad variety of crops including other pome fruit, stone fruit, cucurbits,
strawberries, almonds, tomatoes, vegetables, hops, cotton,
cereal seed treatments, turf and ornamentals.
4. It is used as a foliar treatment for control of powdery mildew, shot-hole,
blossom blight, anthracnose and rust in stone fruit and nuts;
in cucurbits; powdery mildew and rusts on ornamentals;
rusts on perennial grasses grown for seed;
5. and as a seed treatment for control of seed- and soil-borne diseases
in barley, maize, cotton, rice and wheat; and as a post-harvest
treatment in crops such as banana.
Animals 90% Elimination via faeces within 7 days in the rat.
Plants Metabolised to a dihydroxy metabolite and others.

Oral Acute oral LD50 for rats >2000 mg/kg.
Skin and eye Acute percutaneous LD50 for rats >2000 mg/kg.
Not a skin or eye irritant. Inhalation LC50 >1.4 mg/l air.
NOEL Chronic NOEL for rats 750 ppm (29.4 and 38.3 mg/kg b.w. daily for males and females, respy.);
for dogs 2.5 mg/kg b.w.
