Application of Plant Growth Regulators in Pepper

The use of growth regulators on pepper production can promote or inhibit the growth of peppers, increase their resistance to stress, increase seed setting rates, early harvest, significantly increase yields, improve quality, and increase yields.

1. Promote rooting and raise strong seedlings

(1)Naphthalene Acetate + 4-indol-3-ylbutyric acid: It can be applied to the roots, flushes, and foliar sprays of peppers to promote the rapid rooting of peppers. When using, pay attention to the content of Naphthaleneacetic acid, spray no more than 1.3%, Spraying no more than 5%.

 

(2)Sodium nitrophenolate: The seedling stage uses 1.8% spores of 15-20 ml foliar spray to promote the vegetative growth of pepper and prevent the death of dead trees.

Brassinolide: 10 g/ml of alizarin lactone 0.01 at the seedling stage is used for foliar spray, which can promote the growth of pepper and cultivate strong seedlings.

 

(3)Gibberellin acid: When pepper seeds germinate, treatment with 50-100ppm gibberellin solution can break the dormancy and promote germination.

 

2. Prevent prosperous

(1)Chlormequat(CCC): When seedlings are seedlings or grow thin, they can be sprayed at the initial flowering stage with dwarfing liquid with a concentration of 20-25pp or 250-500pp.

 

(2) Uniconazole: Use of 5% uniconazole in the seedling stage and early flowering period The foliar spray can make the roots of capsicum well-developed, stout stalks strong, and resistance to disease lodging resistance increase, can prevent the chili peppers from prosperous and the plants are dwarfed and strong.

 

(3) Paclobutrazol: When paclobutrazol solution was used to dip roots, the treated plants grew thicker in leaves, developed in roots, and thickened in stems. When spraying paclobutrazol on foliar, pay attention to the amount of seedling and early flowering period, and use the concentration of 10-20ml/kg. (4) Daminozide(B9): When the seedling grows or grows thin, the 1000-4000ppm spray of the leaf surface of the seedling can be used to suppress the growth of the stem and leaf, making the plant dwarf. Dark green leaves enhance cold and drought resistance.

 

3.Prevent falling flowers and falling fruit

(1)Naphthylacetic acid: In the flowering stage, spraying with naphthaleneacetic acid (sodium) at a concentration of 50ppm and spraying once every 10-15 days can significantly increase the fruit setting rate and increase the fruit number and fruit weight. Foliage spraying 15-20 days before harvest can prevent fruit drop. Note: Farming cannot be used because naphthalene acetic acid has a certain influence on the development of pepper seeds.

(2)Brassinolide: The whole plant is sprayed with 10ml alkaloid brassinolide at a concentration of 0.01 in the early stage of pepper-bearing fruit to prevent yellowing and shedding of the peduncle of the door pepper and the pepper, so that the flower buds develop normally, and the buds are promptly raised. Fruit rate.

(3)Gibberellin acid: Spraying 1-2 times of 30-50ppm liquid during the flowering period of pepper can promote fruit set.

 

4.Promote premature, increase production

(1)Ethephon: Spraying with ethephon solution can promote fruit ripening. Be careful not to prematurely use ethephon to ripen green fruits, which will seriously affect the quality of peppers.

 

(2)Diethyl aminoethyl hexanoate (DA-6): Spray with 2.6 times of 1.6% DA-6 fresh fat for 2-3 times during the growth period of pepper, with interval of 10-15 days. Can significantly increase production, early harvest, extended harvest period.

 

(3)Brassinolide: The entire growth period is sprayed 3-4 times with 10l of 0.01 Brassinolide at intervals of 10-15 days. It can promote the growth of seedlings, improve the quality of seedlings, promote the early flowering of plants, increase the number of single plants and fruit weight, generally can increase production by 10%-25%.
